Personal Statement
I am the fastest on the team and I play center field, my time in the 60 yard dash is 6.8 seconds. I weigh about 165 pounds and I am 5'10". I played Varsity baseball this past spring, hit lead off and am now captain. Besides high school baseball, I have played on club teams every Spring, Summer and Fall since I was 13. I was fortunate to play on the 13-year old Babe Ruth World Series team in 2007. Whenever I get on the field I work the hardest I can so I will improve and be better each day. I encourage my teammates and try to lead by example. I hope to go to a school where I will be a starting player as a freshman. I prefer a medium sized college where I could get involved not only in baseball but also in campus life. I am mainly interested in Virginia and surrounding states but will consider others. I am undecided in my major but I want to join the Marine Corps as an officer after college.
