I have played baseball since I was 4 starting with T-ball and worked my way up to High School, Travel and Showcase team levels. Baseball is my passion and my goal is to continue to play baseball at every competitive level. With hard work, dedication and my passion for the game, I know I have what it takes to make these goals a reality. Playing college ball along with finding a school majoring in Kinesiology/Athletic Training/Exercise Science would be perfect match! Being a martial artist, currently a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has taught me to be focused, respectful and disciplined in everything I do. bsp;I believe I would make a big impact and be an asset to your program. I am a driven, motivated baseball player and I believe my dugout and on-field attitude would be a definite asset to the team.
On a personal note, I live in Northern VA, have my license and drive myself to school and baseball practices.. I do not have any siblings, but I do have a pet cat, 3 horses and a lot chickens. You could say I live on a small farm. During any free time, after school, homework, training for baseball and Tae Kwon Do, I volunteer at a thrift shop. I like hanging out with my friends, going to movies, playing some video games. The summer of 2013 I went on a Mission trip to the Dominican Republic with my Fellowship of Christian Athletes baseball team where we played baseball with the locals everyday and went went to a few orphanages played with the kids and helped gather and distribute food to some local poor families. The summer of 2014 I plan to go on another mission trip, this time to Ecuador. which I am looking forward to since the first trip was such an amazing experience. I am also looking into a mission trip for mid-August 2014 with our church to a small town in southwest West Virginia.
Thanks for taking time reading my personal statement and I hope to hear from you!
Michael
