Hunter Barbour '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Hunter Barbour. I attend Franklin County High School in Virginia, where I'll be graduating in 2016. I played Varsity Baseball my sophomore year and batted .353 with 26 RBI's. My junior year I started each game either at first base or catching. I caught eleven games and played first for ten. I hit .318 with one home-run and eight doubles. During American legion baseball I hit .512 with two home runs, 27 hits, 28 RBI's, and a 1.179 OPS. I received the Silver Slugger award and MVP. First is my primary position and I catch when I am not playing first.  When I'm not playing Baseball I play Basketball for my High School. My collegiate goals include playing baseball, and receiving an education. I would like to receive my major in Criminal Justice. In my spare time I enjoy hunting, fishing, and kayaking.
