Personal Statement

I am a hard worker on and off the field and I am extremely physically fit.   I have good grades and good time management skills.  I study hard maintaining a 3.03 GPA, and I work hard to perfect my game.  I know how to work the strike zone and keep batters off balance by mixing up my fastball, change-up, and breaking ball.  I use my arm slot to my advantage and mix in the occasional sidearm pitch that has tremendous movement and is hard to hit.  I have great command and locate all my pitches and make batters hit grounders and fly balls.  I work well under pressure and am dependable, reliable, and trustworthy and I am a loyal team player.  I believe that hard work and persistence pays off.  My ultimate goal is to continue playing baseball while achieving excellence in the classroom. 

I have played USSSA/Nations/Triple Crown travel baseball since 9U and have been an integral part of teams that have seen great success, even as we played up in age brackets.  The following is a list of tournaments that my team won or finished runner-up:
