Personal Statement
Ever since I was 5 years old I have been playing baseball. During my little league days I played shortstop and I pitched. Once I moved to the regulation field I was moved to the outfield due to my speed and ability to track a baseball. The outfield is like my home and I will always protect it. In my free time I follow a workout program that was designed by my pitching coach, Zach Dials, who I have been going to for 3 years and work on my batting with tips and instruction from my batting coach, Eddie Kim. Since baseball is my passion, I try to lead it the best I can when I am in the outfield or pitching. I am always talking and moving to make sure the other players know what is going on every play. I try to take 100 swings a day in my cage and work hard to try and throw 6 out of the 7 days a week.
I feel that I am a great teammate and a very coachable player that works hard no matter if I am on the field or off the field. My academics are very important to me and I have held a 3.9 grade point average in Middle School and High School and I am involved in many activities with the school.
