Personal Statement
Playing baseball has helped develop my character over the years. It's taught me how to persevere when the batter has a 3-0 count. It's taught me about leadership when I want to help the rest of my team become better. It's taught me about self control whenever an umpire makes a call I don’t think is right. When it comes to baseball I do not quit, I thrive off of people telling me I can’t do something because I love proving them wrong. I also enjoy doing this off the baseball field in my classes. Because of these qualities and characteristics, I believe I would be a great addition to any baseball team.
I would like to play for a college in the mid-atlantic states. I want to go to a school with a strong math program because math teaches problem solving skills giving me many career options. Another choice for a major would be exercise science because I want to help kids become better athletes. Faith is also a big part of my life. Therefore I would like to go to a school with strong campus ministries.
