Personal Statement
My name is Colton Bunt and since I was young I knew that I wanted to be a part of something bigger in sports and life. My goals and aspirations to play at the collegiate level are very simple. I want to play baseball with a successful baseball team that has goals like I do and that is too train hard and to obtain as much information about the game to be the best we can be.
I have been a part of some very high level sports programs that have taught me everything about what it takes to succeed at a high level. I started sports at a very young age and worked hard and earned myself a starting spot on every baseball team I've been on. I was starting catcher for Rijo Athletics and myself and my teammates worked hard on and off the field earning ourselves 1st place in 2013 and 2014 in the Sandy kofaux nationals tournament, also taking 3rd in 2015 16u season. My teammates and myself were successful because of all the off season workouts, camps, and strength and agility training we did in all our spare time. I played 87 games in 1 season in 2013 and 76 in our 2nd season 2014 teaching us about teamwork and dedication and becoming focused at a young age. I`m finishing off my highschool baseball career playing for Chaffey baseball out of Washington and looking to compete and earn a a degree in college. I`ve lettered all 4 years for my highschool baseball team and football team. I am also a national honor student and involved in our community teaching kids camps and working local food shelters. I am a very well rounded individual whos looking to play baseball with a college fit for me.
What makes me different than other recruits in my character is I am motivated and positive and very successful in all that I do and brings me great satisfaction. I don`t give up and I'm always wanting to learn more. I always try to exceed my limitations, by trying to be bigger, stronger and faster. I push myself in athletics and my studies. I`m not afraid to fail and I am very motivated to get into a college. I will do whatever it takes, So I will continue to study and train hard and I`m hoping somebody sees who and what I am and decides I`m right for their baseball team and college.
