Personal Statement
I have been groomed by my dad to be a baseball player since I was a little boy. He taught me that great players are not always the most athletic, but individuals who out work people. I want to receive a college education and play Division 1 college ball. Roughly, I have a 3.6gpa. I am taking honors level classes , and I understand that without a solid academic background that baseball would not even be an option. In baseball I am a RHP and a catcher. In my sophomore year at Wahama High School, our team won the single A state championship. I was the conference defensive MVP, I was selected as a 1st team all state selection, and I made the USA Today all WV team for 2015. I am also mentioned as the number 3 rated prospect in WV for the class of 2017. I am a power pitcher . My fastball topped out at 90 mph in the state semi final game last summer. I am a blue collar worker who is not afraid of hard work, adversity, competition, or failure. Your only as good as your last game, and I know that I have so much more to learn and grow. I am a team first player, and I have been taught to let your play do the talking.
