I am a 6' tall shortstop from Chippewa Falls, WI. I will be graduating in 2012 from Chippewa Falls Senior High School. As a junior, I received 1st Team All-Conference, WBCA All State Honorable Mention, WBCA All-District First team and 2nd Team All-Area. During my sophomore year, I received 1st Team All-Conference, and WBCA All District Second team in 2010. I was the top defensive infielder for the Big Rivers Conference, allowing only one error. I continue to work hard at improving my hitting and fielding skills in the off-season. During the summer I play on the American Legion baseball team in my town. This year, our team became the Wisconsin American Legion AAA State Champions, earning a trip to Nationals. I was selected American Senior Legion AAA State MVP and Hitting Champion, batting .565. I finished the regular season batting .484 and received the Silver Slugger award for the second year. During this fall, I played on the Wisconsin All Star team, batted .590 in 7 games played. I am a team leader and have confidence in myself that I can come through for the team. My primary position is shortstop, but I can play middle field, catcher or pitch when needed. I also have played Varisty Hockey for four years, having won awards for most improved, top defensive player and team captain. I take my role as team captain seriously, trying to be a good role model for the younger players. I would like to attend a middle size college and/or a Junior College, that will give me the opportunity to play as a freshman. At this time I am undecided as to what field I would like to major in. I would like to find a balance between my academics and time on the field. Financial aid will be a factor in deciding what school I will attend.
