Personal Statement
The thing that makes me the happiest in life is baseball. The fresh cut green grass, the crack of the bat, the sound of the ball hitting the glove, the chatter- those are all things that are true music to my ears. I don't plan to stop creating and experiencing these sounds in high school, I want to play in college and hopefully beyond that. I am a hardworking, dedicated, and a talented individual that hopes to bring my skills to a college both on and off the field. Once my mind has been set on something it WILL be done and I won't allow myself to quit on anything. Something that I have always know is that I want to be remembered, not just as a great ballplayer, but in the community as well. These are things that set me apart from other recruits.
Some goals I have set are to get my GPA higher to be on atleast high honors every quarter, to perfect my changeup and curveball, to improve my batting average, and to simply become the best ballplayer I can be. I also am in Band class and have been playing drums for 5 years and have been playing guitar for 3 years. Besides band I also participate in the Student Activity Council, Forensics, Biology Club, Summer and fall baseball, and I have been invited into the National Honors Society.
Thank you for your time.
