Personal Statement
From the time I was little, I have played multiple sports; and athletics has been the center of my life. I cannot recall a time when I didn’t have multiple practices during a week – baseball, soccer, basketball, and football – all being worked on throughout the year. Throughout the years, the other sports began to become less important, and baseball became my passion. There is no greater feeling than walking onto a baseball field to begin a practice or a game.
On the baseball field, I am a contact hitter with an average arm. I am very vocal on the diamond and lead by example. My knowledge of the game is extremely high. I am coachable and strive to get better every day. I love watching videos on the breakdown of my swing and putting in the extra time to fix what I need to correct. I have a strong work ethic - whether it’s working on the diamond to improve my game or working in the weight room/gym to improve my strength, speed, and agility.
I would like to go to a college where I can contribute to a baseball team and, most importantly, pursue my dreams of majoring in sports management or physical education. I am open to all colleges that come my way, and I am hoping to find the perfect school for me both academically and athletically.
