Hi, my name is Sam Zarling. I love to play the game of baseball. I love the history, the rules of the game, the camaraderie with teammates and getting all the right pieces to work together to win. My goal is to play competitive college baseball and pursue my educational goals in business.
I attend Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson, WI, class of 2017. I am a National Honor Society Member and on honor roll all of my high school semesters.
In high school baseball, a Varsity Baseball starter Freshman, Sophomore, Junior years, playing 3B, SS, and Corner OF and hitting 3rd & 4th in the line-up. I have earned 1st team all-conference awards, 1st team all-area awards and our team has won regional championships.
For travel baseball I play for Hitters Baseball Academy in the fall of 2016. It's great to compete with and against the best in the nation.
In the summer and fall of 2015, a 16U played on the 17U Wisconsin All-Stars, led the team in batting average, extra base hits and RBI playing against the top competition from the mid-atlantic, northeast, midwest, and down south.
I would be a good addition to a college team looking for a smart, talented, hardworking kid with "salt of the earth" values who likes to help the team win.
Thanks for reading,
Sam
