Personal Statement
My name is Jake Hall; Baseball came naturally to me and as I grew older I realized the blessings I was given to play the game. Along with the natural gift of athleticism, I work extremely hard, I’m dedicated to all that I do, and I have a passion for the game of baseball that I feel is required to play at the collegiate level. Leadership is another gift that I have been blessed with on the field, in the classroom, and amongst my friends. Being a leader comes with a lot of responsibility that I hold in the highest regard. I have a great mom and dad that have raised me to respect authority. I believe these character qualities are what college coaches will appreciate in a student-athlete.
As I continue through the recruiting process, I realize how big of a commitment it is to have aspirations to play at the collegiate level. I continue to prepare myself both physically and mentally to be successful in the game of baseball. My level of intensity and focus that I bring to every practice is what sets me apart from most others. I take all my training very serious. My competitive nature has always forced me to work as hard as I possibly can and have no limitations to what it takes to get the job done.
When looking for a college to play baseball for, I want a college that I can truly call my home. To me, it’s necessary to surround myself with players and coaches that help me become a better and more respectable person. Most importantly, I desire a college that will prepare me academically for life after school. I am undecided on my major at this time, but my interests include; the Military, Sports Management and possibly Medicine or Engineering.
