Brian Grove '15 Recruiting Profile

I was coached by Kirk Gibson in a life changing and inspiring moment. He really changed my athletic career in a way that was unimaginable. Since then I have been taking film regularly and hitting at the local batting cages almost everyday. I will work the hardest that I possibly can to do whatever any coach asks. This is shown in my versatility. Last year I played a total of 5 different positions in starting roles (2B, SS, 3B, LF, RHP) while maintaining my leadoff spot. I will do whatever it is that my coach asks and respect any coach more than anybody else. As for my future, my collegiate goal is to be a starter on a competitive baseball team. The goal is broad but that's how I view my future, I am open to success at any level. I am an avid weightlifter as well. I currently max out bench at 245 lbs, Squat at 420 lbs, and hang clean at 200 lbs. I am extremely proud of my weightlifting and it shows another dynamic of my dedication to sports. I want to play baseball in college and professionally more than anything, and I would do anything in my power to play. Thank you for your time.
