Jameson Kahl '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jameson Kahl. I am a Three sport athlete ( Soccer, Baseball, Basketball) Finishing up my Senior year in high school  at St. Croix Falls Senior High School in 2018. Basketball is my passion. After a successful Sophomore year on varsity, I was asked to take on more responsibility as a team leader as a Junior. I was asked to guard the other team's best player and be a scorer.  During my Senior season I was selected to be the Captain of the basketball & soccer teams. My goal is to continue learn about the game of basketball to work towards a collegiate athletic scholarship in basketball through hard work on and off the basketball court. Academics is an important part of my overall development as an athlete. My belief is that education is the backbone for continual growth in my pursuit of a basketball scholarship. I live by three core principles: gentleman, scholar, and athlete. These core principles have helped me develop both on and off the basketball court as I continue to grow as a person. In terms of athletics, I feel that athletes have two choices to be a worker or wisher. My choice is to be a worker, working hard translates to success in every aspect of my life. I believe in life, we get out of it what we put into it whether its friendship, competition, or grades.
