Personal Statement
Ever since I have been a little kid, I have always wanted to play Division 1 baseball. I would dream of winning the College World Series. My biggest aspiration has been to pitch in the MLB.
I will compete and work extremely hard. As a sophomore in high school, I became the "closer" or late inning reliever. Being brought into intense pressure situations, I successfully closed games and allowed little to no runners on base. I had to compete for that position though. Playing on a team the went to state the previous season, I passed up juniors and seniors on the depth chart. My senior season was by far the best season of my life. I led the league in wins, innings pitched, and strike outs. I also won player of the week, all-conference, and all-area.
I have won numerous student of the months, and Christian character awards. I am not afraid to stand up for what is right.
I will bring an intense, competitive aspect to your team; always striving to do better.
When not playing baseball, I love spending time outdoors with my family and friends. I enjoy playing back yard football, basketball and wiffle ball with my brother, dad, and friends. I also enjoy going hunting every fall with my dad and family. I am rarely sitting down in my house playing video games, I always am active.
