Personal Statement

My dream is to play college baseball while receiving great education. I have been  playing baseball since i could walk. I have always been competitive and always wanting to win. I would love to have the college baseball experience while contributing to a good program.

In addition to sports, I participate in the Key Club and Best Buddies, while also working as an umpire. I was also nominated and selected by many teachers to become a Link Crew Leader, this is important to me because I am a huge fan of giving back. I would like to attend college and play baseball at a school where I can get the best education, overall experience and prepare for a successful career.

My goal is to help out a college baseball program while receiving the education I always wanted, I work year round to make my goal become reality. As far as education, I would like to study Business, Sports Management, or Accounting.

Being a student athlete is hard but I am multi sport athlete throughout high school, I maintain keeping good grades and making time time to study for test to receive the hear grades in every class I take. During the off season I weight lift 4 days a week along with training mentally and physically. Hard work is a vital key in becoming a great athlete.

Attached below is a video of me hitting, I will post a full highlight video as soon as possible. Here is what my Fall Coach Mike Buelow had to say about me. "At the plate, Khalil has a nice line drive swing. He has real good pop in his bat. He uses his hips real well when turning on a baseball. The baseball jumps off his bat. In the infield, he as good hands and great range at 1st base. Khalil is a big kid that has a lot of upside. He is going to get bigger and stronger the next few years in high school.  Khalil also plays 1st base. At the plate he has a nice short compact swing. He hits with gap power to all fields. Khalil has a great attitude and he always gives 100% College Coaches will love this kid" I work hard to become the best play I can possibly become. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
