- Based upon his tryout and evaluation, Jackson was selected to play on the Baseball Factory's national freshman team for several tournaments. The coach who evaluated Jackson provided the following: "Jackson is a tall, solid 1B who has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying solid hitting abilities through a tall setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are soft and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. With 4 years to further develop, Jackson has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game."
