June was a busy month for me. Each week I played in 4 baseball games in surrounding counties with my High School Team. I also worked out in the weight room 3 times a week and, began cross country training running 4 miles twice a week.

I also went to North Cobb High School and attended an Under Amour Baseball Factory competition. I additionally was selected to play in the Pirate City Championship to be held Jebbat the Pittsburgh Pirates training facility in Bradenton, FL. on August 4th – 8th. I am really looking forward to the competition and playing with players from all across the country.

We will be playing and practicing baseball 10 hours a day.  We will be staying at the training facility and experiencing what it is really like during spring training for the Pirates. There will also be college scouts and professional baseball people there to work with me and help improve my game.

There will also be a team competition and one team will win the championship. I hope it is my team. I have been really working hard to be at my best for this event.

I also had my first college contact in June. I received a package from the coach and a questionnaire which I quickly responded to. Since responding I have received a letter of invitation from the coach to visit the college.  Things are going pretty well I guess. I just plan to focus on my grades and continue trying to improve my game. Thanks NCSA
