NCSA Student-Athlete Beats Cancer
August 13th, 2008 - byTJ Rasnick a wide receiver from Tazwell, Virginia and NCSA student-athlete was diagnosed with Sarnobial Sarcoma , a rare form of cancer in June. Through much encouragement from his family and our staff he has informed us that he will be returning to the gridiron this fall despite being slapped with adversity. Earlier this month we wanted to encourage TJ that in football; it’s not how many times you get knocked down, it’s how many times you get back up. It’s clear by now that TJ has fought his way back up.
We at NCSA could not be more proud of TJ and all that he has been through. Thank you for your persistence, patience, and dedication. You are an ambassador to NCSA and symbolize the character of our student-athletes! Check out this link to see more on TJ and his re-union with the Tazwell High Bulldogs
