Read a college recruiting blog unlike any other, only at the National Collegiate Scouting Association. NCSA's blog is more than just college recruiting; it's also an athletic scholarships blog that's tailored to all high school athletes.

Larry - Never assume anything. Keep calling everyone on the coaching staff until you get an answer. You can always email them, also. Finally, try calling the athletic department administrative assistant(s) and see when the coaches are usually in the office.

I would like to take an unofficial visit to a school I am interested in. I am a sophomore in HS. I called the coach but had to leave a voicemail. Since he can't call me back, should I keep trying to get him on the phone or is it better to let him know when I will be stopping by and assume he will be there?
