A: They can attend games and evaluate talent during periods known as evaluation periods. You see an overview of NCAA evaluation periods here.
However, remember that the majority of coaches don’t have enough money in their recruiting budgets to watch athletes play in person so if it does happen, it is a rarity. This makes it important to have an athletic resume available that features your highlight tape and game film so that coaches can see you in action.
