Coaches demand good grades and all-out effort on the field. The film they’re watching to decide whether you will be a college athlete will come from next season. Prepare now so that you’re ready when the time comes. Here’s how:

1. Attend camps and combines. You should every chance to improve your skills, and these are key to that. They will also let you get your numbers (40 time, bench, etc) tested and verified. Don’t expect coaches to find you there, though – they come to camps and combines to see talent they’ve already identified, not find new talent.

2. Research schools. Now is the time to start looking into schools you want to attend – not once the recruiting process has already started. Take unofficial visits if you can. If you want to find out what schools will be a good fit for you (and what coaches are looking for players from your graduating class) call 866.579.6272 or click the “Get Scouted” button below.
