As we get closer to the regular signing period for sports, many Class of 2015 student-athletes are buying sweatshirts, t-shirts and other swag with the school of their choice front and center. And who can blame them? After all, they’ve achieved their dream. If only you could ask them what their tips for playing sports in college were, right?

There’s something different about hearing it from other student-athletes’ lips: what they went through, how they were able to succeed, that’s different than hearing scouts or coaches give advice.

We get it.

That’s why Laura, who regularly writes for this blog, has started collecting tips for playing sports in college from students just like you, who have gone through the rigorous process of SAT and ACT exams. They’ve figured out the complex paperwork of FAFSA and the NCAA Eligibility Center. They’ve taken control of their recruiting by building an online profile and seeking guidance from those who can help.

And now they’re sharing their experiences with you.

Check out Recruited Today, where you can see all of the top pieces of advice from your peers and get inspired. Laura will be updating it every day.

If you like what you see, there’s a weekly newsletter she’ll be sending out, too — with all the tips for playing sports in college for the week, plus cool extras like songs to get you pumped up during your workouts, healthy recipes and the occasional cat picture.

Because everything’s better with cat pictures.

Check it out, and get inspired.
