Overview:
NCSA's College Scouts are dynamic, high-energy sports fanatics who are motivated by competition and uncapped earning potential. You must enjoy talking about sports and be able to connect with families as you discuss the qualifications of their student-athletes. Our College Scouts work closely with the rest of our scouting team to enroll qualified student-athletes into the NCSA program.
Position Location:
Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work hand in hand with National Scouts around the country
- Learn how college recruiting works from the inside out
- Educate families about collegiate recruiting and NCSA's role in the process while evaluating qualification level of the athlete
- Effectively communicate with scouting team to coordinate meetings and lead qualified families through the enrollment process
- Participate in extensive training program designed to help you advance quickly in the scouting career path
Minimum requirements:
- College degree from an accredited 4-year college or university highly preferred
- Must be a sports enthusiast and be willing to learn about a variety of sports
- Collegiate playing experience preferred but not required
- Strong and professional phone demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Willingness and availability to work night and weekend hours
- Overall tech savvy, especially proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Calendars
