NCSA is the premier high school sports recruiting service in the country. NCSA’s Video Department is responsible for all aspects of the production and post-production process in the world of college recruiting for student-athletes and college coaches as well as the production of original, in-house recruiting-related content for various online media outlets. The work environment with NCSA is sports oriented and casual and provides the opportunity to work with former professional and collegiate athletes. The Video Department Intern would be assisting NCSA’s professional Video Coordinators with the potential to lead to full-time employment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Having the opportunity to learn all aspects of Production and Post-Production work
- Transcoding and editing NCSA client videos for distribution on the Internet
- Exporting video footage from DVD’s and filing them onto a server
- Logging, filing, and organizing DVD’s for the video department
- Publishing media on multiple Internet platforms
- Creating DVD’s through IDVD
Requirements:
- Mac and PC proficient.
- Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, IDVD, and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
- Experience with Sony HDV cameras, green screen shooting, teleprompter operation also a plus.
