National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) was founded in 2000 by Chris Krause, a former full-ride scholarship football player at Vanderbilt University, with a two-pronged mission: To provide college coaches with a reliable resource to find qualified student-athletes for their programs and to educate and guide high school student-athletes and their families through the college recruiting process while providing them with tools and resources to do so. Since 2000, NCSA has quickly grown to be the leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 35,000 college coaches and over 200,000 student-athletes and families across the country.
Job Description:
Our scouts are responsible for the following:
- Conducting phone evaluations with student-athletes and their parents to determine what college programs they may qualify for
- Providing student-athletes and families expert advice and knowledge about the college recruiting process
- Effectively communicating NCSA’s role in the recruiting process
- Enrolling qualified student-athletes into the NCSA program from all areas of the country
Requirements:
- Collegiate athletic experience
- Coaching and/or sales experience preferred
- A history of success at previous positions
- Team oriented person
- Working knowledge of multiple sports
- A passion for working with high school student-athletes and families
- Competitive and entrepreneurial mindset
- A college degree from an accredited 4-year college or University
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Highly organized
