If you are a highly motivated, hard working former college athlete or coach with excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality and in-depth knowledge of collegiate athletics and the recruiting process then this is the position for you!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coach NCSA student-athletes/families through all phases of the recruiting process
- Conduct one on one and group conference calls to discuss recruiting topics
- Answer emails regarding recruiting related questions
- Help student-athletes/families understand the steps they need to take to maximize their recruiting potential
- Review monthly correspondence between student-athletes and college coaches
- Watch video to evaluate talent
- Provide families with realistic analysis of their abilities and potential
- Determine what levels of play an athlete may qualify for
- Edit video
- Match Student-Athlete with College Coaches
- Deliver information to the appropriate colleges
- Send relevant information about the athletes to the coaches
- Communicate directly with college coaches
- Determine what the coaches' academic and athletic needs
Qualifications:
- Former college coach and/or athlete preferred
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong work ethic with team player mentality
- Professional, friendly phone demeanor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent Writing Skills
- Passionate about college athletics
- Goal oriented with a desire to succeed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (evening hours will be required)
