crystal dang '20 Recruiting Profile

Field hockey is one of the best things in my life. I love the sport and just holding the stick makes me feel happier and lsss stressed. However, I’m involved with many other things and have big goals for my future. I am the principle flute for my band at Poway High and I am also involved with the marching band. I play field hockey for my high school team as well as my club team, Mystix. I am also a peer counselor and I am an active member of the Cru club at my school. Additionally, I spend a lot of my time volunteering. I’ve spent 5 weeks this past summer as a Junior Counselor at Outpost Summer Camps with 3-5 year olds and I plan to do the same this upcoming summer. I also volunteer from time to time doing music therapy for autistic children at Camp Jam. I really enjoy volunteering and helping others and spending time with kids. I work hard at everything I do whether it’s sports, clubs, or school. My goal is to attend a good 4 year university and play field hockey and major in biology.
