Maille Ryan '20 Recruiting Profile

  In life I have gone through quite an amount of adventures. One struggle that has shaped me into who I am today is when my parents got a divorce. This has helped me to be who I am today because it taught me to be an independent person and not to depend on other people. It has also taught me to push my life along and not just sit back, waiting for things to happen. Around that time when my parents got a divorce is when I really pushed myself into sports to succeed and to meet my own standards that I had set for myself. Being average did not really suit who I was then. I was more of a person that pushed myself to be better than everyone else. I wanted to be noticed by my coaches and other team mates. I am very hard working and dedicated to what I do. Playing sports has really changed my and the was I look at situations in my life. I have better leadership skills and instead of waiting for problems to fix them selves, I go head on and fix them. 

    My academic goals for high school is to pass all of my classes with high standards that I have for myself. In certain courses, I would like the succeed in more then my other classes, but I strive to do my best in all my classes. I wish to do the same academically in college. I would love to enter the medical field in college. I would like to major in medicine and my minor to be athletic training.
