Coming up on my junior year in high school, field hockey is becoming more and more important to me. I practice by myself after practices with my team. I am following a weight lifting program. Field hockey is half of my life and I wouldn't want it any other way. Being named captain of my school's varsity team as a junior is such a great feeling, knowing that my entire team and coach chose me to lead the team. I have also been awarded All-Conference 1st team for Class B in Maine, All-State team for Maine, and been invited to participate with the Future's Program 2017. Playing college field hockey at the highest level I possibly can is my goal. I am ready to take my field hockey to the next level, physically and emotionally. I build teams up and encourage people to never put themselves down. Playing on my school team, club team, being an honors student and having a part-time job has taught me how to balance my time well. I usually don't take breaks, and it's because I don't want to.
