Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations include finding a major that best fits me and my abilities. I want to then build off of this major and use the skills learned in my study to find a job I enjoy and am successful in. In college I want to meet new people and discover new things about myself and the world. I want to further develop my leadership skills and my ability to interact with others around me. I hope to play field hockey and continue learning more about the sport I love at a higher level.
This past season, my high school team won the State Championship for the first time in 32 years. It was such an amazing feeling and I am so glad that I got to be apart of it. Being a captain as a junior, I felt it was part of my responsibility to keep the team positive and motivated as we continued to win games, never did I think that our #road2states slogan in the beginning of the year would actually come true. As a captain it taught me leadership, responsibility, and positivity, and I am so glad that I got to share all of these qualities with my amazing teammates.
