2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Being a member of my nationally ranked club field hockey team has been the greatest growing experience of my life. I’ve learned to handle successes as well as the disappointments but most of all I have an incredible group of friends that I know will be by my side for the rest of my life. While playing the sport that I love I’ve realized that being part of a team is like having a second family that I know will always be there with me.
I first became interested in Field Hockey by learning about my Mom’s achievements as a goalie at Providence College. It was easy to see how much she loved and respected the sport and to no surprise it pulled me in. Like my Mother, I really look forward to the moments in the game when everything is on the line; I find that in those moments I get very focused and I love that feeling of pressure. I truly feel that my experiences as a student-athlete can be a great addition to your program!
