I was 12 when I first decided I wanted to play field hockey. I did a few summer camps then went into freshman year playing, I absolutely loved it! I knew from that point that I wanted to play in college and keep it in my life after highschool. I was on jv my freshman year, starting as forward, right wing or link and playing the whole game. Once the Varsity coach watched me play a few games, she moved me up to play in some varsity games. It was completely different from playing on jv, but I was excited to be noticed an have the chance to play with good, experienced players! After playing with them they all told me I would definitely be on varistiy next year.
Once the season was over I joined the swim team. I didnt compete much my freshman year but this year as a sophmore I am steadily improving with every race. I am our top distant swimmer. (this is my first year swimming distant) and my coach said that I have potential of swimming for a D3 school.
In the spring I went out for the softball team and made varsity. There was no jv because there was not enough girls, but people were cut from tryouts so we wouldn't have an overload on the varsity team. I was a dynamic player. Although I didnt play very much I had a lot of fun and I loved the girls!
Sophmore Year field hockey was the best experience! I was on varsity as the girls said i would be and i was excited! I started and played almost the whole game. I love field hockey with a passion and I hope to play in college ; with Possibly some finacial aid. I am open to any college and any division in any state. I am also going to strive to be one of the teams captains next year as a junior, I think I can do it.
As for my academics I am an all honors student. I want to be a dental hygeinest in the future. I am currently taking Chemistry. Junior year I Plan to take AP Chem and Senior year I Plan to take AP Biology.
This winter, every saturday, I am Playing indoor. I love it! the coach that runs it stopped me as i was leaving one day and said I was phenomenal and should considering playing in college. I told her I deffinitely wanna play in college and was going to try!
