Personal Statement
Since I was only five years old I have been playing sports. Throughout my life I have played six sports and field hockey has been the only sport I've been passionate about and truly have loved. I have played since I was in fifth grade and I instantly fell in love with the sport. Freshman year after my first high school season, I realized this was the sport I was meant to play. Since then I have been working hard both during the season as well as in the off season. I have done Pinnacle summer and spring training, I did futures for two years, Fer de Lance Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter leagues and training sessions. I also have had private training sessions with former Michigan field hockey players and coaches. I also enjoy coaching middle schoolers in the off season and help them fall in love with field hockey as I did. I want to get better and learn as many new skills as possible to help my high school and club teams succeed. During Thanksgiving 2016 I attended a club tournament with the Fer De Lance club team and placed second in the pool. I have attended summer camps in Saline, Dexter and the All American Mid West Exposure Camp. I am eager to learn, which is why this summer I plan on attending college camps, tournments and continuing my leagues and training sessions. I am a hard worker and I constantly push myself to the limit every time I step on the field or step in the gym. I believe that I would be a great fit for any team because of my hard work ethic, positive attitude, and great leadership skills.
