Personal Statement

Hello Coaches', my name is Jade Marden I am 17 years old, and I am currently a senior at Laconia High School, In Laconia, New Hampshire. From where I come from its a small city.  But what you don't know is, in a small city like this dreams are huge, and amazing. Some people want to be writers', athletes', or scientists'. We are all destine to do something great one day some found it, some haven't yet. In the collegiate level I want to peruse my dreams to be a Marine biologist, to rehab the sick, and injured sea animals. I also want to minor in Oceanography. I want to play the sport I am passionate about which is field hockey at the collegiate level too. No matter what division the school is in. I believe that I am a good candidate for your team. This is so because I am a hard worker, and I know how to get things done, and I follow directions very well. I am different from other recruits in character. This is so because at home my dad he works two jobs, he cooks, he gets very little sleep, and also spends time with me and my family. My dad is determined to make my family's lives better without us sacrificing anything, even though he sacrificed a lot so we can be happy. With that in my household I picked up a lot from my dad. I am determined to do whatever it takes to achieve good grade, and I'm determined to play my sport very well. In this sport you get hit left to right from your legs to your arms,  yet it hurts so bad you have to fight the pain in order to keep going. In my field hockey experience I have gotten a tweaked back and three sprained ankles. Trust me it's not fun. Four months of recovery, and countless hours of physical therapy. It's very tiring. My father is a awesome role model for me. This is so because with his guidance I am caring, and I am determined to put peoples' needs before mine. Putting peoples' needs before mine, and caring about people who were never kind, and caring about people who put me down everyday makes me feel that I impacted peoples' lives. This sport is so important to be because i love it so much and I have been playing since I was in sixth grade, I have a ritual where I put the initials' of the people that I play for. Which is my mom, my dad, and my sister. They have supported me at my worst, and best times. And I love them for that. I am determined to make, and change the lives' of people around me even if I am just bringing a smile to their faces'. Which I hope that makes me a good candidate for your team, and makes my father proud of what I accomplished.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
