As I approach my senior year of high school, my collegiate goals have become clear. Pursuing an advanced education and playing the sport I love and have worked so hard for is the path I want to take. As a player and student, I have always been hard-working, determined, open to feedback and a true team player/ classmate. Seeing my team succeed has always been important to me. In the classroom it's setting goals, challenging myself putting my full effort into all my work by asking questions, seeking extra help when needed and helping my fellow students. Over the years of playing field hockey, ice hockey, and softball I've learned what the character of an outstanding teammate and leader is and most importantly the work and extra time it takes to reach your full potential. What makes me different is my positive outlook, willingness to help others and my drive to never give up. My high school field hockey coach was quoted as saying “she is a tough girl, she’s got great skills and determination is a testament to her putting the work in the off-season.” I love being a leader through my actions on and off the field.
