Just completed my second season as a varsity starter as we won our 6th consecutive sectional championship. I was just chosen to be a member of first team all conference. I am currently in my second year as a varsity starter in swimming where I continuously place in backstroke and freestyle.
Last spring during lacrosse, I ended my freshman year as a varsity starter with the highest assists on my team (20) and the third highest in goals and overall points (35 goals and 55 points). During the season, I was also fortunate enough to be nominated by NJ.COM as one of the Top 75 Freshman in the state and also earned NJ.COM Player of the Week for the Colonial Conference. I look forward to the upcoming season to work with my team as we battle for our conference championship. I believe that playing multiple sports helps me to become a well-rounded student athlete. Throughout the year, I am also a part of the fall and summer ALL AMERICAN AIM CLUB LACROSSE TEAM. Last year, we won the IWLCA Championship in Richmond.
Two major accomplishments that occurred last summer that I am most proud of was that I was chosen for the NJSIAA Student Ambassador Leadership Program for the 2018-2019 school year. The 31 student athletes, chosen from all around our state to be a part of this program, work together with state representatives from NJSIAA to make positive changes for high school athletes. My second accomplishment from last summer was representing Team New Jersey in the WPLL Futures Program. This was such an amazing opportunity to not only play against athletes from around the country, but to be trained by some of the best collegiate and professional women lacrosse players in the game. Team New Jersey ended up winning the first ever championship.
Academically, I am enrolled in all honors classes. I have made the honor roll and have earned college credits as I am a part time student at Rowan College of New Jersey where I take college courses during the summer and throughout the school year.
