I began playing Field Hockey in 7th grade in my middle schools modified program. I had played soccer, basketball, softball, ect... and I had never loved a game more than Field Hockey. I did several summer leagues to further my skills, but mostly just to play. When I joined my travel team, Rye field Hockey Academy, I was intimidated as I was not as strong as the other girls, I did not start playing until two years prior, and because the level of play was much higher then what I was used to. Before our first tournament I learned how to make myself as strong as the other girls, I adapted to the skill level everyone else was at and got there as well, and I saw myself get better ass in a matter of weeks. Even though I have not been playing Field Hockey my whole life, alike some of my teammates I am teachable, willing to spend extra hours on the field, and always looking to further my skills.
