Personal Statement
I am Julia Papanicolaou and I attend Lakeland High School in Shrub Oak, New York. I am a disciplined player and a hard worker on and off the field. My aspiration is to be the best player I can be and play field hockey at the collegiate level. What makes me different from other players would be that I see the field and I always put my team first. In character, I am a supportive teammate who works with my team, I am competitive and want to win. I am a natural defensive player who will protect my goalie and work with my teammates to keep my back protected. Academically, I always want to do the best that I can do. I know my best will not always be where I would like but I am willing to work to get it back. I believe in life we sometimes have to brush ourselves off and get back to business. I like to think of myself as a no nonsense no drama kind a person with a big smile and robust laugh.
