Upon graduating from West Islip High School I plan to pursue an education in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. Hard work in the classroom is just as important as hard work on the field. After all, education determines a person's future. I am currently involved with the West Islip Thirst Project and SADD. I plan to balance study time with practice time, and work vigorously to receive above satisfactory grades. Along with education, I aspire to take my love for the game of field hockey to the next level. From the first time i could hold a stick to the moment i was named captain of my varsity team for my junior and senior year of high school; i knew that hard work and dedication pays off. Field hockey is more than just a sport to me, from practicing long hours to training fiercely to get in the best shape possible. I am determined to do whatever is necessary to help my team out and will never stop fighting to achieve our goals. I am a dedicated player and am willing to be pushed and work beyond my limits to achieve greater than what i am expected to accomplish.
