Personal Statement

I have always envisioned myself to be involved in sports before, during and after college. I believe that both the Communications and Sports Marketing and Management curriculum's would allow me to reach my dreams.

Since I was a very young I was always involved in sports. From soccer to basketball, lacrosse and of course field hockey.  I have always found myself to be extremely competitive and I love the camaraderie that team sports brings to the social aspect of my life. I have played field hockey since the 7th grade and ever since I was moved from a Junior Varsity Captain, my freshman year, to Varsity (I scored 3 goals in my very first Varsity game) to this past summer (with my Futures team in the National Futures Championships winning the Bronze medal) I have not looked back. My extensive training over the past year has brought me to new heights, as a field hockey player, and I will continue the progression right thru college. I want to become the best player I can possibly be, through hard work and dedication, and be the type of leader that elevates everyone around me. I would love to play for a team that is highly competitive and is very close knit, like my family. With my speed, stick handling and leadership skills I would like to make an immediate impact on any team I play for.

I would prefer to go away to college to maximize my college life experience. I do not have a particular preference to any specific area. My parents have always given me and my siblings the best opportunities to succeed in whatever we want to do and they have always taught us that the harder you work the more our goals will be achieved.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
