Personal Statement
As a two-sport student athlete, athletics have taught me to manage time, work hard, and have a physically fit body and mind. Since the seventh grade, I have played field hockey for the middle and high school team. With hard work and practice with and without my team my sophomore year, I played as a left back (defense) for the varsity field hockey team and earned the Defensive MVP award. Last year, I played center midfielder in indoor field hockey with KaPow and this coming year I will be playing for the indoor club, Electric Surge. My junior year, I was voted to the class AA first team all star field hockey by the Wyoming Valley Conference coaches. In 2015, as a member of the Dallas Track and Field team, we won WVC Champions, District 2 Champions, and Good Sportsmanship Award.
I am interested in the sciences and looking for a mid-size to small school in any division. I would like to contribute to a team in any position by striving in practice, listening and learning from my teammates and coaches.
