As a Varsity player my sophomore year, being a leader on and off the field, I pushed myself to be a better player throughout the season. Although the season was hard at times, I never gave up my passion of playing field hockey. The dedication and hard work the team brought to the field made us stronger and closer as a team.
During my field hockey career, I learned how to balance my academic life with my athletic life and to maintain good grades throughout the year. I know how to manage my time well with sports and school work all happening at the same time. Maintaining my time and balancing my academic life along with my athletic life is a great skill to have as I look forward college.
