A journey is more important than a destination. My goal in life, my destination, is to become the best person I can be; confident, strong, kind, hardworking, and intelligent. In order to accomplish this goal I want to challenge myself, learn, and grow. If in the process I can also have fun, that makes my journey all the more exciting. I love field hockey. I love a challenge. I love working my heart out, and the feeling of accomplishment that comes with it. That is why I aspire to play field hockey in college; to make my journey in life all the more valuable.
My work ethic and leadership qualities help me succeed on and off the field. I practice my skills on my own and I condition myself just about everyday. At practice, I compliment my teammates on their mastered skills and I encourage them when they struggle with others. My goal is to keep the atmosphere positive and fun while we accomplish our goals at the same time.
Field hockey is my passion, and I hope that I will be given the opportunity to play at the collegiate level so that I can continue to learn and grow; and ultimately to reach my full potential.
