Gian Saccomanno '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gian Mossimo Saccomanno, I am a 6’5”, 230 pound Tight End/H-Back in the class of 2016. I am an honor roll student with a 3.8 g.p.a.  I run a personal best 4.69 second forty yard dash, have a 37 inch vertical jump, 300 pound bench press, and a 525 pound squat. As a sophomore, I started on offense as a Tight End/H-Back, played every special team, and finished the year as a defensive end as well. I was the backup quarterback to a senior starter and played the position on junior varsity, where I threw for just over 600 yards in 5 games. I split time at Quarterback my Junior year and also spent time at WR.  I will be attending Alabama Prep this fall with the goal of increasing my skill level at the TE position.  I will contribute to my team by putting in the hard work, hours of training, studying, first in and last out, setting an example, and most of all, being a leader by my actions. It has been my lifelong dream to play college football and am planning on majoring in the health sciences field. My goal is to make a positive impact on the team I play for, work my way to the top, and play at the highest level of competition possible. I am a very coachable, team oriented player and believe in preparing myself both physically and mentally, not only during the season, but in the offseason as well.  I will be passionately committed to serving the program I play for.
