Colby Royster '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello I'm Colby Royster, I play for Foley HS, Left Guard or Center. I have played football since I was 7 years old .I am an weight room warrior, no one will out work me  I am an A student but do recieve an couple of B's every now and then.

Every since I first started playing football I have been honored by being picked on the all-county team or all-star team if there was one selected from grade 4 until now.  I also have recieved offensiveline men of the year trophy my sophomore year the only year the coaches did it. My favorite blocks are pull blocking, down blocking, and screens. I have played left tackle/guard/center and defensive end/ tackle/ nose, and even a little running back/Qb. 9th grade year of football I was moved up to Varsity football and was secound string right guard. I practice both guards and center everyday at practice, and have even done some tackle if people were hurt. I have went to the Alabama football training camp 5 times out of the last 6 years and recieved the saban award the last 3 times about the top 80 kids get it out of 500-800 kids

In the classroom I work hard too. When ever there is a group project I am one of the people in charged. When there is down time in the classroom I do the homework asigned for that night. If there is a big test coming up I study. Also if there is something I can do for extra credit I do it. Math is my favorite subject. After i graduate and football is done, I plan on running a family store in Gulf Shores Al.
