Price Delk '17 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of football.  It is the ultimate team sport.  Every man must do his job for the team to be successful, no matter how well the stars perform.  I love the competition, the camaraderie, the hard work, and the thrill of winning.  

I also am committed to academics.  I have challenged myself in the classroom like I have challenged myself on the football field, and have attacked that challenge with the same high intensity.  I am fortunate to have been successful in both arenas, so my dream is to play football at a university with world class academics.  

For reasons I cannot exactly explain, I have been a leader of my peers since I can remember.  I take this responsibility seriously and believe I have led in a positive direction.  I think coaches will find in me a unique combination of athletic ability, academic success, a strong moral compass, and a natural set of leadership skills that will benefit their team beyond relentless blocking with great technique.
