Personal Statement
As a kid in my school's football program, you're expected to excel. My school had recently gone to state four years in a row winning three of the four. Going into my freshman year we were expected to go to state as usual. Although, sadly this year, my freshman year, we didn't. The whole team was very distraught. However, I feel that we as a team grew and I became brothers with my teammates that day. That experience helped me grow as an individual, and hopefully will result in my drive to be become a player capable of playing at the college level.
I am blessed to be part of the amazing program I get to represent. This year I learned the value of teamwork and commitment. I'm looking forward to becoming a leader on my team, on the field, and in the classroom. As an upcoming sophomore, I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me and has a coach that will believe in me. I believe I not only have the potential to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact on your program.
