Personal Statement
One of the major things in my life that influenced me to start playing football was my dad playing football at the college level (Auburn). Also, my grandfather, who remains the interception record holder at Auburn University and is a College Football Hall of Fame nominee. This has shaped me in many ways along my football journey, including my knowledge of the game. I love learning from them and hearing what they have to say, whether it is about football or not. After a year of flag football in fourth grade, I started playing football in the fifth grade. This sport has taught me so much about work ethic and what it takes to stand apart from others on the field. Also, playing for your teammates, and not just yourself.
Both my quickness and field vision when running the ball are currently the best parts about my running game. On defense I am tight in coverage, find the ball quickly and make sure tackles. I enjoy understanding more about the game and growing my skill set.
